More than 300 villagers of Tavakubu in Lautoka will have to adhere to strict rule of gatherings of 10 people or fewer.

This was the new protocol implemented by the village Headman, Aisea Vuda.

Mr Vuda said he thought best for the villagers and for the safety of their health and reduced the number to 10.

Outside vehicles are also denied entry into the village.

Gatherings are also cancelled, except for funerals.

Several village members are appointed to look after the five entry points leading to the village.
