Between The Lines: Don’t Mess With Military

DON’T MESS WITH OUR MILITARY
Reporter out West was seemingly not properly listening to the briefing at Nadi Airport yesterday afternoon. Media were told not to approach returnees on the special Air New Zealand flight from Auckland. The returnees were being escorted into 14 days of quarantine.
The not-so-smart reporter still tried to get his interview. He instead got his marching orders from an unamused Republic of Fiji Military Forces officer helping in the safe transfer of the passengers.
SUNDAY BUSINESS IN THE CAPITAL
A report that the entrepreneurial spirit was still alive in Suva on Sunday afternoon despite the COVID-19 slowdown.
On a fence near Suva market a man was sitting selling face masks from a packet.
Further along a Lady of the Night was out in the day offering her services.
Then there were the BBQ merchants promoting their food.
All this within a short stretch.
