9 Front Court For Breaching Curfew In Lautoka

Nine people, including four juveniles, appeared at the Magistrates Court in Lautoka yesterday for allegedly breaching the curfew hours.

Nine people, including four juveniles, appeared at the Magistrates Court in Lautoka yesterday for allegedly breaching the curfew hours.

They were all charged with disobeying a lawful order.

They are:

  • Four juveniles and one female, Anaseini Natoma, appeared before Magistrate Bandula Gunaratne.
  • Two females, Sainiana Ratu and Abigail Low appeared before Magistrate Nayani Kasturiratne.
  • Ana Waiwalu and Isaia Dau appeared before Magistrate Sekonaia Vodokisolomone.

The juveniles were granted bail by Magistrate Gunaratne.

They were bailed on the following conditions:

  • $500 bond including one surety,
  • Advised not to re-offend and
  • Follow daily curfew imposed for them between 10 pm to 6 am.

The four will reappear on April 15, 2020.

Waiwalu and Dau were further remanded. The matter has been adjourned to April 3, 2020.

Ratu and Low were also further remanded. The matter has been adjourned to April 7, 2020.

Natoma was also further remanded. The matter has been adjourned to April 14, 2020.
