University Of The South Pacific Mid Semester Break Extended To Another Week

The University of the South Pacific (USP) DISMAC (Disaster Management Committee) has extended the Mid Semester Break by an additional week from April 6 to April 13, taking into account the Easter Weekend.
USP Vice Chancellor and President Professor Pal Ahluwalia advised students not to come to the campuses and advised them to observe the national protocols in their countries and follow the advice from campus directors.
Professor Ahluwalia said arrangements for working from home needed to be made while some were required to report to work.
“For essential staff the arrangement will be in place until April 13. A further advisory will be issued before April 13 to clarify matters further,” Professor Ahluwalia said.
