Passengers Count Their Lucky Stars After Bus Accident Along Labasa Highway

Passengers of Parmod Enterprises Limited were rushed to the Labasa Hospital following an accident yesterday at Tabia along the Labasa Highway.

This was confirmed by Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro.

“The bus was travelling along the highway when the driver of a private car allegedly overtook the bus and the front tyres exploded and allegedly resulted in the accident.

“Passengers received injuries and were treated at the Labasa Hospital,” Ms Naisoro said.

David Allen, an American who was the passenger in the private car and the driver were treated at the Labasa Hospital with his driver.

Parmod Enterprises Limited director Edwin Chand said there were less than 20 passengers in bus and no one received serious injuries.
