COVID-19: Korovou Lockdown Lifted

The lockdown of Korovou Settlement along Siberia Road in Labasa has been lifted today.
This was confirmed by Police Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho during a press conference in Suva.
He said upon the advise from the Ministry of Health about the result of the patients from this area came negative, the lockdown was lifted.
When Fiji Sun visited the lockdown area at around 11:30am the Police officers were removing their tent.
Meanwhile, Soasoa is the only place under lockdown in Labasa as the first Coronavirus case for North resided in this place with his family.
