Cyclone Harold: Fiji Roads Update – 9AM

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public regarding the following road closures due to flooding;
- Edinburgh Drive is reduced to a single lane due to fallen trees
- Queens Road at Nabukelevu Road Junction, Navua is closed due to flooding.
- Tavualevu Bridge is underwater. Kings Road is closed at the bridge – Tavua Town.
- Kings Road at Korovou is reduced to a single lane due to a fallen tree blocking the road.
- Road-side Landslip at Dilkusha on Princes Road – the road has been reduced to single lane.
- A cavity at Ovalau Circular Road, Levuka
- River slip at Sawani is still passable on Princes Road with single-lane restriction. We are constantly monitoring this.
- Fallen tree at Ratu Mara Road near the Nabua Muslim League Settlement is being cleared
- Surface flooding on Main Street Ba
- Queens Road has debris at the Enamanu Road Junction, Nadi – open to 1 lane traffic only.
- Narewa Road has debris on road near Narewa village, Nadi – open to 1 lane traffic only

Cavity at Ovalau Circular Road
As of now, all roads in the Northern Division are open.
FRA is warning motorists about widespread flooding on main roads around Viti Levu. We are urging the public to take the necessary precautions and take note of the advisories from relevant authorities.
Only essential travel should take place on the roads. If you absolutely have to use the roads to be very careful and avoid all flooded sections of road.
FRA is advising members of the public to take extra precaution while travelling in these conditions and do not drive into water of unknown depth and current.
