Three Cops And A Security Guard Front Court For Drinking Kava During Curfew Hours

Three Police Officers from the Colo-i-Suva Community Post and a security guard were produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court on Monday.

They were arrested at the Police Post on Sunday morning for allegedly drinking kava during curfew hours.

The accused persons Inspector Pauliasi Colamoto, Corporal Sireli Batibasaga, Corporal Mesulame Senimoli and John Stephens are charged with one count of disobedience of a lawful order.

They appeared before Magistrate Charles Ratakele and were released for a sum of $200 cash bail each.

Their case has been adjourned to June 10 for mention.
