Man Who Snuck Into Lautoka Confinement Area Further Remanded

A 24-year-old man appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court for allegedly breaching the Lautoka confined area.

Onisimo Sina is charged with one count of disobedience of lawful order.

He appeared before Resident Magistrate, Nayani Kasturiratne.

Sina, a Kashmir resident in Lautoka is alleged to have returned from overseas and smuggled his way into the Lautoka confined area before the confinement period was lifted.

Police Prosecutor, Constable Merelisoni Bati appeared for the State.

The defence was represented by lawyer, Salvin Nand. Magistrate Kasturiratne further remanded the accused. The matter has been adjourned to April 15, 2020.
