Easter Services Conducted For Police Officers At Various Checkpoints Around The Division

Police officers around the Divison were blessed as they had Easter services conducted at various checkpoints by Force Chaplain SP Reverend Waisale Tikowale along with senior members of the Fiji Police Force as well as visits from members of various church groups signifying the "veilomani" spirit.

Police officers around the Divison were blessed as they had Easter services conducted at various checkpoints by Force Chaplain SP Reverend Waisale Tikowale along with senior members of the Fiji Police Force as well as visits from members of various church groups signifying the “veilomani” spirit.

Nananu Church Circuit members cooked a hearty Easter meal for officers manning the Nausori roadblock while in the Northern Division prayers were said at checkpoints before sharing refreshments which included the traditional Easter favorite the hot cross buns.

Lincoln Refrigeration Services owner Mr Praveen stopped by with his family to donate refreshments while the South Pacific Ealry Mission’s Pastor Lim and family with Provincial Administrator donated tea supplies to be used by officers manning checkpoints in the North.

Members of the Lakshmi Narayan Temple  cooked and supplied dinner to officers manning the Sawani checkpoint last night, including the Rokotuinaceva family who provided hot tea and a bite to eat for officers in Valelevu.
