Sponsorship Talks

The Nadi Rugby Union officials will sit with with all their traditional sponsors like Jack’s of Fiji and Number One Currency to discuss about their partnership in this year’s Fiji Rugby Union calendar.
This was confirmed yesterday by Nadi Rugby Union secretary Jeff Tamata.
“We haven’t done our sponsorship launch yet,” he said.
“We will sit down with our sponsors again once the FRU has readjusted this year’s calendar,
“We are looking forward to a mutual understanding with them regarding our partnership and they coming on board again this year.”
Tamata added the players are following the training programme mapped out by the coaching staff.
“We can’t do much but to resort to this due to the coronavirus pandemic faced by our country at the moment likewise the lockdown and restrictions given out by the government.
“As soon as we get the restrictions lifted, players will undergo a fitness test and will see where we go from there.
“I think the other teams have mapped out plans regarding theitraining programmes due to the current crisis we have. We all can’t wait for the Skipper Cup to start, but at the moment the lives of the players and our supporters are our paramount objective.”Tamata said the Nadi Rugby Union just cannot wait for their club competition to resume due to the massive response they got from the first round of games.
