Government To Monitor COVID-19 Positive Fijians In Malaysia

Three Fijians, who have tested positive for COVID-19, will be closely monitored by the Fijian Government until their isolation period ends in Malaysia, says Minister for Health and Medical Services, Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete.

The three, plus Fiji’s COVID-19 case number nine, the 53-year-old man, in Soasoa, Labasa, attended the religious gathering in Nizamuddin, India.

Times of India reported that four people from Fiji are likely to be blacklisted by India. They were among the 300 foreigners who went to India from 16 countries on tourist visas, but attended the congregation at Nizamuddin.
