Health officials will ask for recent travel history of family members and if any of them has been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19. They will also look out for COVID-19 like symptoms such as a dry cough, fever, sore throat and shortness of breath. Depending on their assessment, they may check for fever of the affected person and may refer them for further investigation, which could include testing.
The checkup can be done at the gate and teams are not required to enter the house. The public is advised that the person who checks for fever wears a mask and gloves.
The team would like to thank the public for their continued cooperation – tie up your dogs (if you have any), keep an eye out for these health officials, request for official ID and cooperate by answering their questions.
