A Ministry of Forestry staff was advised to follow the law and directives from the Fiji Police Force after he appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.

Samuela Bulabalavu, 32, pleaded guilty to one count of failure to comply with lawful order.

Bulabalavu was standing along Fletcher Road, Vatuwaqa, with a group of others around 9pm when Police arrested him.

The others escaped after swearing at the Police.

He sought forgiveness from the Court and promised not to re-offend.

He was fined $200. He was also bailed on $200 bond, and ordered to report to the Nabua Police Station every Wednesday and Saturday.

The case has been adjourned to May 13 to review the fine payment.
