Mick’s Fiji Tours and Transfers Managing Director, Sitiveni Nawaqa led his team in donating essential items to over 90 families affected by Tropical Cyclone Harold on Vatulele Island.

Mr Nawaqa alongside his wife, Yvonne, parents, Epeli and Taina Nawaqa and general manager, Ananaia Nawaqa were part of the group of employees who travelled to Ekubu and Taunovo Village last week to visit the families.

Mr Nawaqa and his team donated food items like flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, canned foods and other items that were needed most by the affected families.

“I share maternal links to Ekubu Village and it was my duty to help families on the island,” he said.

He said the company forked out $5000 to $6000 to help the villagers.
