Villagers In Yasawa Urged To Adhere To COVID-19 Restrictions

Villagers in the Yasawa group have been urged to adhere to restrictions implemented by the Fijian Government.
In a briefing Assistant Roko Yasawa Nemani Tarotaro stressed that every Fijian needs to adhere to those restrictions to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
“The restrictions are in place to protect you. We call on each and everyone of you to support this decision and also support your Turaga Ni Koro who will be ensuring that these restrictions are followed.”
The Government delegation is currently in the Yasawa group distributing rations, conducting assessment for TC Harold and also conducting awareness for COVID-19.
