Court Rules SODELPA AGM Breached Party Constitution

Justice Vishwa Datt has declared that the AGM breached the party’s constitution and the 2013 Fiji Constitution and that all decisions, resolutions and outcomes of the AGM are invalid.

The Suva High Court has ruled against SODELPA and its executives in its determination of the validity of the party’s 2019 AGM in Yaroi, Savusavu.

Justice Vishwa Datt has declared that the AGM breached the party’s constitution and the 2013 Fiji Constitution and that all decisions, resolutions and outcomes of the AGM are invalid.

The elections of party President Ro Filipe Tuisawau and Vice President Adi Litia Qionibaravi at the AGM has been declared invalid.

However they continue to hold office until the party’s financial members elect or remove them.
