Tim Dearsley Resigns

Tim Dearsley, a familiar face in the tourism sector, has resigned from Novotel Suva Lami Bay and is now in New Zealand.
He is an experienced General Manager working in the hospitality industry.
On his LinkedIn Page, Mr Dearsley posted that he is currently the Village Manager at The Russley Village in Christchurch, New Zealand.
His involvement with the Accor Hotels brand began in April 2007 till March.
He was the manager of Ibis Hotel Christchurch, General Manager of Novotel Christchurch and General Manager of Novotel Suva, Lami Bay in Fiji.
Mr Dearsley was also a longtime member of Skal International Suva Fiji.
Peter Gee
He is not the only senior expat hotel executive that has departed Suva, Peter Gee, the outgoing Grand Pacific Hotel GM, resigned and left with his wife in March.
Mr Gee in a response stated the reason they left was because of the rapidly unfolding coronavirus issues. “I have returned to Australia and am no longer employed by Grand Pacific Hotel.”
