Four people are fortunate to have escaped serious injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road in Veisari yesterday afternoon.
The four include the 35-year-old driver, a 30-year-old woman and two young children.
The driver allegedly tried to avoid another accident with an oncoming vehicle resulting in their vehicle crashing into a BBQ stall by the road.
The driver and two young children were treated and sent home, while the 30-year-old woman remains admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
