New $350K Supermarket Carpark To Ease Customer Experience

Customers of NEWWORLD Supermarket in Labasa can now shop at ease following the opening of a new car park, which cost $350,000 to build.
The car park means customers no longer have to walk great lengths with their groceries to board a vehicle.
NEWWORLD Supermarket Labasa built the car park which can hold up to 40 vehicles at any one time.
Branch manager Vinil Krishna said the carpark was convenient as it allowed customers to shop without paying parking fees.
“In the past, customers had a hard time during the rainy season, carrying their groceries to the main road.”
The car park opens daily from 8am to 9pm.
The property on which NEWWORLD Supermarket is located, is owned by Valebasoga Tropik Board Limited.
Valebasoga Tropik Board Limited directors Mukhtar Ali and Niwaz Ali said the new car park raised the image of Nayara subdivision.
NEWWORLD Supermarket Labasa was opened in 2018.
The car park opened yesterday.
The new development also features a children’s park which will have a bouncing castle.
