Fijians are coming up with innovative ways to make use of their time while life and business are yet to return to normal.

Trio Waisiki Naqiolevu, Luke Vunasau and Uraia Buresova are doing household chores for Lautoka residents who need help.

All they ask in return is 30 minutes of their time.

They had advertised their service on the Facebook page ‘Barter for Better Fiji

“The idea came to us during a random conversation. So we thought, why not make use of this opportunity and give back to the communities and in exchange to pray for them and share the Bible,” he said.

He said his motivation has always been his faith.

On Monday the trio helped a Punjab family move their stuff, gardening and pot planting.”

Mr Naqiolevu said many have offered to provide his team with financial assistance.

“A businessman even called us and said that if we needed transport and that he would go and pick us and drop us wherever we go, everything is just opening up,” he said.

Hallelujah Chesed of Kaunitoni, Lautoka said she was thankful for the timely assistance provided by the three.
