Two Police Officers Charged With Aggravated Robbery Of A Chinese National
It is alleged that on 24 March 2020, the two Police officers stole $500 cash from a Chinese national after approaching him on the Sigatoka Valley Road.

The Director of Public Prosecutions, Christopher Pryde, has charged two Police officers with aggravated robbery.
Karim Begg and Roneel Ravinesh Chand are jointly charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
It is alleged that on 24 March 2020, the two Police officers stole $500 cash from a Chinese national after approaching him on the Sigatoka Valley Road.
Before stealing the money, it is alleged the police officers used force on the victim. The matter will be called at the Suva High Court on 8 May 2020 for the State to file the Information.
