Lost And Intoxicated Among Curfew Arrests

Twenty-seven (27) arrests were made last night and all were for breach of curfew.

Both the Southern and Eastern Divisions recorded ten (10) reports, West recorded five (5) cases while North recorded two (2) cases.

Majority of the arrests involved those who were found walking around during curfew hours from 10pm to 5am, while a few cases were of those who were heavily intoxicated not realising where they were.

We will continue to reiterate the importance of planning, because while you may be allowed to move around for social gatherings with 20 people or less, as soon as it’s 10pm you have to stay where you are until the curfew is lifted at 5am.
