Navua Sisters Show Love For Their Mother With Gifts

Sisters Sheemal and Shayal Kumar a travelled to Suva from Navua to buy gifts for their mother, an act of love that has become part of their life.

Sheemal Kumar, 21, a University of the South Pacific student, had saved her allowance to buy gifts for their mother.

“My mother has done a lot for us and I know no gift we buy will be equal the love she has given us, but this is one way we can show our appreciation,” Ms Kumar said.

“My mum is one of the best mums’ in the world because no matter how naughty we get, she would never give up on us.

“This is one we way we can thank her for all the sacrifices she has made for us.”

Ms Kumar wishes all mothers’ a Happy Mother’s Day.

“Everyone will agree with me that a mother’s love cannot be compared to anything,” she said.

“To us, our mother is everything. Our mother is our nurse when we get sick, she is our chef when we are hungry, she is our teacher as she teaches us values and ethics and many other positive things.

“I am happy that I get to spend another Mother’s Day with our mum.

“I can say that we are blessed because God chose our mum to be our mother.

“We love our mum and she is our world.”
