People Walking With No Valid Reason During Curfew Hours Amongst 38 Arrests

Thirty-eight (38) arrests were made last night for breach of curfew offences in four policing divisions with the exception of the Central Division.

The Southern Division recorded twenty-one (21) arrests most of whom were arrested by officers on mobile patrol as they were found walking around after 10pm for no valid reasons.

The Western Division recorded nine (9) arrests. The Eastern Division recorded five arrests while the Northern Division recorded three (3) arrests.

No juvenile was arrested over the last 24 hour period.

The nationwide curfew remains at 10pm to 5am and unless it is a medical emergency or you have a valid reason such as work to be moving around with a signed letter indicating your hours of work, you must stay home.

Plan your time well and if you are at social functions when the clock strikes 10pm, be prepared to spend the night as you will only be allowed to move again the next morning at 5am.
