HERO TAXI DRIVERS

A group of taxi drivers, who were waiting for passengers in the morning in Lautoka, managed to catch a thief who had grabbed jewellery from a woman. The thief pulled a necklace from the old lady who was on her way home.

He ran towards the bus station. What the thief did not expect was this bunch of taxi drivers. The young man was taken to the nearest Police Post.

NUBUKALOU JUMPER

While many chatter on about the poor bus driver who in his stressed state decided to jump off the bridge, story of a similar incident was brought back to life. During the days of a publication which was situated in Greig Street in Suva, an employee distraught and saddened at the infidelity of his girlfriend decided to jump into Nubukalou Creek in Suva. After talking for an hour on the subject matter, the jump was made and the “jumpee” discovered that he could still stand in the water. So he climbed out of the water, spent the rest of the night in his wet clothes.

TRAVEL BUBBLE

Interesting discussions have popped up regarding the so called travel bubble. Australia and New Zealand are creating theirs and depending on its success, we will see the inclusion of Fiji. The thought that while the two big brothers have their own bubble, how about a Pacific travel bubble with Pacific island nations that are COVID free?
