Forty-seven (47) arrests were made between the hours of 10pm to 5am this morning.
Five (5) men were arrested in the Nothern Division by 3 officers for failure to comply with orders and also face additional charges for allegedly resisting arrest.
The Southern Division recorded seventeen (17) arrests, Eastern Division eleven (11) while the Western Division recorded fourteen (14) reports.
In the Southern Division a taxi driver and a farmer were arrested in Navua after producing an expired inter-island bus ticket to officers manning checkpoints.
