Akbar Offers 12-Acre Land For Anyone Interested In Utilising It For Agricultural Purposes
Minister for Education Rosy Akbar is offering her 12-acre land in Ba for interested individuals willing to utilise it for agricultural purposes.
This is part of Ms Akbar’s active participation on the Barter for Better Fiji Facebook page.
She said the land was not utilised for over a year.
“A family can cultivate the land, plant vegetables and breed livestock as well,” Ms Akbar said.
She said a lot of people had shown interest in the land and had been calling her to have a look at it.
“Around five families between Ba and Nadi have contacted me to have a look at the land. I am very happy that I am able to assist needy families during hardship,” she said.

Yesterday, she travelled to Ba to show the interested families around the farm.
Ms Akbar said it was important to give from your heart without expecting anything in return.
