Fiji Airways Fijian 7s squad member Suliano Volivoli is grateful to the Fiji Police Force for allowing him to train daily.

Based at the Totogo Police Station in Suva, he has been given a training programme to follow, in preparation for the World Sevens Series.

As with the rest of the squad members, he has also been told to watch his diet by Head Coach Gareth Baber.

“I’m preparing myself if we are going to be called into camp when the COVID – 19 restrictions are lifted,” he said.

“We’ve been following the programmes and we could march into camp in two weeks.

“As a member of the Fiji Police Force, it is tough to balance work and training during this time.

“I am thankful that I am being given time to do my training.

“I am having a normal shift then I am released in the afternoon to do my training.

“I missed training with the whole squad because we always encouraged each other.”

Volivoli took part in the Los Angeles-Vancouver leg of the 2019-20 World Sevens Series.
