Soldier From Lami Gets Issued A DVRO

A Domestic Violence Restraining Order was issued against a soldier from Lami on Friday.
The accused appeared before Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.
It is alleged that he assaulted his wife on December 8 last year. He was released on $2000 bail bond and ordered not to reoffend.
The case was adjourned to September 21 for mention.
