Good Turnout On First Day Of School Says Education Ministry
Minister for Education Rosy thanked the children and encouraged them to continue to go to school and make the best of the free education provided by the Government.

The Ministry of Education was encouraged to see a good number of Year 12 and 13 students who returned to school on Tuesday.
The ministry recorded a turnout of more than 70 per cent. They expected more to turn up yesterday.
Schools were closed for more than 100 days because of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Minister for Education Rosy Akbar, thanked the children and encouraged them to continue to go to school and make the best of the free education provided by the Government.
“The support from parents during the critical years of a child’s education, especially during a pandemic, can never be understated,” she said.
