Land Transport Authority Investigates Nadi Officers For Unprofessional Conduct

The Land Transport Authority of Fiji (LTA) has zero-tolerance to Traffic Offences including its own staff.

LTA is currently investigating an incident where an LTA vehicle in Nadi was pictured parked on a yellow (no parking) line.

LTA CEO, Mr Samuel Simpson, urged all Fijians, to adhere to the Traffic Rules and said LTA staff have a greater responsibility to be compliant at all times given their role in Fijian life.
“An active investigation is currently underway into the officer concerned and subject to due process firm action will be taken,” said Mr Simpson.

“The road rules exist to protect every single road user and it is of utmost importance that they be strictly followed.”

LTA was established to provide a safe land transport system for the nation in partnership with stakeholders, the Fijian Government and the community.
