Dolphin watching, snorkeling, horse riding and trekking Mount Tova are among activities available at Natalei Eco Lodge in Tailevu.

Located 80 kilometres East of Suva, the lodge is offering competitive rates in its all meals included package.

The area, famed for its bay of dolphins at Moon Reef, has made Dawasamu in Tailevu a popular stopover for travellers.

Guests pay an inclusive sum of $150 for conference facilities, three meals and accommodation.

“We can organise transport from Suva and Korovou Town at an additional cost,” said manager Josefa Biu.

Natalei Eco Lodge can host up to 30 guests at any one time.

Activities include

“We require a minimum of four people to take a trip. Mr Biu said.

Our local rate is $150 per person and half price for children below the age of 12.

The rate includes morning tea and refreshments, lunch, the dolphin tour, swimming, snorkeling, at Moon Reef and optional activities such as kayaking and waterfall trekking.

The Mount Tova hike is the best way to enjoy nature, with a two to three hour trek up to the best view in Dawasamu, Mr Biu said.

“Our menu uses the best natural ingredients there is to offer,” he said.

“We buy fresh vegetables from the village and all our seafood is caught by the local fisherman that live here.”

The lodge was designed to target conferences, team building and workshops, Mr Biu said.

Our non-motorised activities are kayaking and waterfall trekking.
