Court Extends Bail For Fareed

The Suva Magistrates Court has extended the bail for former Fijian Holdings Limited chief executive officer, Nouzab Fareed.

Mr Fareed appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili charged with three counts of indecent assault.

Defence lawyer Hemendra Nagin told the court the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions had sought 28 days in order for them to speak to their witnesses.

The case was adjourned to August 14.
