9-Year-Old In Hospital After Bus Accident In Lautoka
A 9-year old girl is currently admitted at the Lautoka Hospital following an accident yesterday at Kadavu street area in Lautoka.
The victim who was a passenger of a school bus driven by a 71-year old man was allegedly hit when she got off from the bus.
The driver was questioned following the incident yesterday.
Police are advising drivers to take precautionary actions and be alert all the time when dropping off students in the morning or afternoon.
Investigations continue for both cases.
Meanwhile, a 27 -year old woman is currently admitted at the CWM Hospital following the accident at Nabua yesterday.
The victim was a passenger of a taxi when the incident occurred.
It is alleged that the 36-year old driver veered off the road and bumped the lamp post.
