The Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa on Denarau Island is offering locals the chance to experience a world renowned property that has catered for thousands of international visitors.

The resort re-opened its doors after closing when the borders closed around the world and tourists stopped coming earlier this year.

Boasting 2.5 kilometres of private beach, the luxurious resort has opened up 111 rooms that have floor to ceiling windows along with discounted local rates.

Resort general manager David Wells said the new offers to the local market represented a huge saving for our locals and includes daily passes with huge savings and great deals on food, activities and use of the swimming pools.

• The reduction in price has been more than 50 per cent of what was normally offered as normal published price for a one bedroom beachfront villa including breakfast was FJ$719 per night.
• The resort’s normal published rate for a two bedroom beachfront villa including breakfast was FJ$1,409 per night.
• Free WiFi is available in public areas around the property.

One Bedroom Villa

• Luxury and comfort for the perfect intimate getaway with outdoor terrace or balcony with fully-equipped kitchen and living area. One king-size bed (note: cannot be configured as a twin).
• Amenities, among other things include washing machine, cooktop, dishwasher, BBQ facility, wireless Internet access, two large TVs, separate showers and bath tubs.

Two Bedroom Beachfront

• Luxurious and refreshingly spacious with outdoor terrace or balcony with private BBQ, modern open-plan layout with fully-equipped kitchen, living area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
• These rooms feature either two king beds or one king bed and two single beds.

It has all other amenities as listed above.

“We reopened last Friday, we put in some very special rates in the market.

“The rates includes taxes, complimentary upgrade to a luxury one-bedroom villa, accommodation for two adults and two children twelve years and under.

“This also includes breakfast for two adults and two children under 12, complementary roll away bed if they need one and late checkout till 2 pm on Sunday.

“We are open from Friday to Sunday with 20 per cent discount on food and beverage and if they want to upgrade to a two-bedroom villa they can get all the above for an extra $120 per night that would make it $359.

“It was very exciting reopening and although we’ve been unable to bring back many in the team. The team that we needed to come in and help were very excited to have the hotel opened again.”

• Guests can check in on Friday at 10 am and can check out late at 2 pm on Sunday but they can continue to use the swimming pool.

Day Pass

“We’ve got weekend swimming pool day passes. These are available at the reception on Friday, Saturday and Sunday,” Mr Wells said. Day Pass visitors will get access to the swimming pool and the restaurant from 10 am to 6 pm.
