There could be a change of venue for Saturday’s double header clash between Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy holders Namosi and Naitasiri.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday Namosi Rugby Union chairman Tui Saladoka said they had been having discussions on the issue.

“We’ll confirm it by Tuesday or Wednesday,” Saladoka said.

It is understood that the double-header clash could be moved to the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

When contacted, the FRU stated that the venue was confirmed for Thomson Park in Navua but they would accommodate any changes if it done early in the week.

Namosi beat Nadroga 15-8 at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka to claim the country’s prestigious rugby title.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Corrections Service yesterday observed its monthly thanksgiving church service at all its respective divisions around the country.

The church service in Korovou was however, made more special as the men and women of the FCS also celebrated the victory of the Namosi rugby side.

However, discipline is an area the Naitasiri rugby coaching staff are going to look into before their double header clash against Namosi on Saturday.

After the Asaeli Boko-coached Namosi side edged Nadroga 15-8 to claim the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy, the Highlanders are focused on improving their play.

Naitasiri coach Ilaitia Tuisese Junior said they need to work on making little things right.

“We must have our discipline right before we head into the game,” he said.

“We have a bunch of experienced and young players in the team. We will work on discipline and get away from the habit of getting yellow cards.”

Tuisese said from here it’s all about hard work, especially for the players who want to make the Match 23 squad.
