Fifteen people were arrested in the last 48 hours for breaching curfew orders and the majority were linked to alcohol.

Of that, eleven cases were recorded on Tuesday night from 11-pm to 4-am on Wednesday morning while four cases were received from 11-pm last night to 4-am this morning.

The Southern Division recorded five cases on Tuesday night whereby four people were found drunk in the Narere area while a 25- year old man was found drunk and walking along Ratu Mara Rd in Nabua.

Three others were arrested from the same division in the last 24-hours including a 37 -year old man who was found walking along the Nadera area while two men in their 30’s were found drunk at the Nabua area.

In the Western Division, all four cases recorded involved men who all found drunk at the Delai Namaka area in Nadi from Tuesday till yesterday morning. No reports were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The lone case recorded in the Eastern Division for the last 48-hours included a 32- year old woman who was found loitering along the Wainibuku area in Nasinu.

The Northern Division also recorded a case involving a 28 -year old farmer who was found drunk in the Labasa area.

A 37 -year old man is the only person arrested in the Central Division over the last 48 hours for curfew breach as he was found loitering along Rodwell Road in Suva.
