Let’s Go Local: GPH Back In The Highlights

Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH) is back in the swing of things with business on the up and up, as reflected by a host of activities and menus to explore.
Hanging out with great vibes by the Natoba Poolside Lounge on Friday evenings, to the tunes of Liam Rae’s live musical performance, should be on your weekly checklist of unwinding stops.
From 6pm to 10pm on Fridays, every first purchase of beverages brings with it a complimentary hot canape.
“Guests can enjoy our house wines from $12 a glass, choose from a range of cocktails starting from $13, or a jug of local beer for $13,” said GPH sales and marketing manager Vanessa Steele.

Alcoholic beverages range from as low as $12 a glass of house wine, to $30 for a bucket of international crafted beers.
“Alternatively, guests can enjoy local or international crafted beers from $30 a bucket, among the other great specials on offer.”
One of Suva’s favoured and oldest hotels, GPH has also returned with its Saturday and Sunday Café Style breakfast buffet menu, available from 7am to 11am, at reduced prices.
“Our renowned breakfast buffet is now $29 for a limited time offer” Ms Steele said.
GPH is steeped in history following its construction in 1914.
An announcement next week will unveil the new low accommodation rates, designed to attract local tourism, Ms Steele said.
In the meantime, the hotel’s popular GPH bakery which reopened with freshly prepared juices, grilled banana bread, artisan sourdough or turmeric and lemon loaf.
