Her family trusted him. For four years, her parents allowed him to live with them. Though they belonged to different denominations, they were of the same faith.

They had all become accustomed to having him around.

But like a thief in the night, he violated and raped a young girl who had dreams of one day becoming a nurse. She was under the age of 18 at the time.

Her parents remain devastated. They probably blame themselves for their only daughter’s misery. It’s a never-ending nightmare.

They’ve reported the matter to the relevant authority. Nothing has transpired.

Here is her story:

“Now heavily pregnant, my dream of being a nurse is a long shot.

A man, who had earned the respect and trust of my parents and family, raped and impregnated me because of his sexual desires.

I was going to my church conference and would stay at my aunt’s place, while he was visiting his relatives, but little did my family know that he had ulterior motives as well….
