NFP Unclear On Sudhakar Joining

An uncertain response from the National Federation Party members yesterday on whether Former Minister for Lands Ashneel Sudhakar could join their party.
NFP Political Administrator Kamal Iyer said the party is vague on Mr Sudhakar joining them.
Mr Iyer made these comments during the party working committee meeting at the Blue Light Village Hotel in Nadi yesterday.
“The question about Sudhakar joining the party is that, it is only him who can answer that. None of us can answer the question. He can’t be in the meeting because this is only for the committee. The meeting in Ba is for the public.”
Mr Sudhakar had attended the meeting in Ba. Mr Iyer said that the meeting conducted had no pre-arranged agenda and it was an open-discussion for all members.
“This is a meeting that our people were given the freedom to speak their mind,” he said.
He added that the last working committee meeting was in November 2018 after the General Election.
Present at the meeting was the NFP leader, Biman Prasad, Pio Tikoduadua, Lenora Qereqeretabua, Seni Nabou, former members of parliament, Prem Singh and Krishna Datt with other members of the committee.
