More MPs At FICAC Today

Ratu Suliano Matanitobua is likely to be among Members of Parliament who will front the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption today concerning the alleged breach of the Parliamentary Act of 2014.
Salote Radrodro and Peceli Vosanibola were the two SODELPA members who were interviewed yesterday while FijiFirst backbencher Vijendra Prakash was also spotted going into the FICAC office.
Mr Prakash is the only FijiFirst member named along with 11 SODELA MPs, who have been alleged to have claimed travel and accommodation allowances which they were not entitled to.
Each of the interviews are said have lasted around 30 minutes, giving the notion that the members may have opted to exercise their right to remain silent on the matter and fight it out in court.
Outside the John Hunt Building in Suva, Ms Radrodro did not want to comment on what she may have said.
The allegations against the Members of Parliament were brought about by Secretary-General to Parliament Viniana Namosimalua.
Other SODELPA MPs alleged to have breached the act are Niko Nawaikula, Aseri Radrodro, Simione Rasova, Mitieli Bulanauca, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, Adi Litia Qionibaravi are Mosese Bulitavu.
The allowances claimed were for parliamentary sessions and committee sittings.
