Nailaga, Ba native Sakaraia Naisua was the toast of the Nadi football side by scoring their winning goal as they beat Lautoka 3-2 in the Vodafone Premier League clash at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, yesterday.

What happened: Lautoka started well and took the lead in the 17th minute through a Sitiveni Cavuilagi goal.

Halftime: Lautoka 1-0 Nadi

At the 46th minute Nadi equalised through a Avinesh Suwamy pile driver.

But the Blues regained the lead in the 70th minute when Samuela Gavo slotted in their second goal.

It was then all Nadi as striker Rusiate Matererega levelled the scores at 2-2 in the 78th minute. The hosts continued on the pressure before Naisua slammed in the winning goal.

Comments: Nadi coach Kamal Swamy said: “It was a great achievement as we lost to them in the first round. It was a tough game but we managed to win and it was a positive sign for us.:
