The Northern Division team returned to the 2020 Police Inter-District Championship football with a goal to win the tournament.

After losing to the Western Division side last year, they have come back stronger with the inclusion of Labasa reps Ilisoni Lolaivalu and Sitiveni Rakai.

They defeated Western Division One, 1 – 0, yesterday with the goal scored by Ratu Anare.

They hope to win against defending champs, Police Special Response Unit in their last pool game today.

Northern team manager Atish Chand said they prepared for three days.

“We have been training individually for a month but the boys came together last week,” he said.
