Stop, Take A Break, Have A Nescafe

While marking World Coffee Day yesterday, Nescafe partnered with the Land Transport Authority in a bid to advocate on road safety, particularly driver fatigue.
Sampling staff from Nescafe and staff members of LTA conducted a joint programme distributing free coffee to members of the public and also created an awareness programme outside the Kundan Singh Supermarket in Tamavua.
October 1 is earmarked around the globe as World Coffee Day.
Nescafe marketing project leader, Mary Wainiu, said they had partnered with LTA throughout the month of October.
She said the two teams would be based at different spots along the Suva to Nausori corridor and would be giving out free coffee.
“Since Nescafe is one of our leading brands within Nestle, we figured that it would be a great way to celebrate World Coffee Day with our product Nescafe and actually give out free coffee to members of the public who are coming in,” Ms Wainiu said.
“The campaign is titled Stop, Revive, Survive.
“We are raising awareness on road safety, the whole reason why we have got to Stop, Revive, Survive is because we have seen an increase in the number of casualties on the road.
“So we are hoping that during our month long awareness with LTA to send the message out to drivers to stop, take a break, revive and have a Nescafe and avoid driver fatigue which causes a lot of accidents these days.”
