Staff Told To Take Leave At Tourism Fiji

Tourism Fiji has encouraged staff to take outstanding leave in a bid to spend sufficient time with family.

Tourism Fiji said it had not made an announcement on the number of workers impacted by the decision

“All staff were asked to continue to reduce their annual leave balance to ensure they are taking sufficient time off and with their families during this time,” Tourism Fiji said.

When pressed over the impact of the decision of its operations, she said: “We have not made any public announcements on staff and our operations in this regard,” Tourism Fiji said.

Tourism Fiji is the statutory body responsible for global marketing and promoting Fiji as a tourist destination.

Tourism Fiji has its headquarters in Nadi, with offices in Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles, London, Germany and China, with representatives in India, Singapore and Japan.
