Verma Family Offers Studio To Passionate Singers For Free

Lautoka youths who have a passion for singing in the church and wish to record their own songs in a studio can do so through the Verma family.
Pastor Sanjeev Verma, and Pastor Shaleni Verma who are the local pastors for the Lautoka International Church of God of Prophecy located in Saweni have been involved with music and the church for about 22 years now.
Recently, the couple of three children released their new revised version of their song, ‘Blessings on Fiji’ which was incorporated to how people were coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Being so much involved with that, they now want to venture out to help and encourage young men and women to record their own songs in their studio for free.
Ms Verma said it was her husband’s passion for music that had brought them a long way.
“After knowing Christ, we just dedicated ourselves to the Lord and we are just doing it for him,” she said
“We released this song ‘Blessings on Fiji’ in 2010 with our album consisting of eight songs which we composed on our own, but with this revised version of this song we have connected it to the situation that is going on in everyone’s lives, being the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Singing for Jesus Christ is not only our passion but our hearts desire. May His name be glorified forevermore.
She said encouraging youths to visit their studio and record their songs was not for their benefit but was solely for God.
“If youths of the church know that they have the talent to sing and they are not exposed out into the world, they can come here and we can help them do that,” said Ms Verma.
“This is an encouragement for the young ones.”
The couple has plans to compose more songs in the future.
