Jenny Seeto Dedicates Medal To Late Husband

Businesswoman and community champion, Jenny Seeto, was among the 31 people honoured with the 50th Anniversary of Independence Commemorative Medal yesterday.
Ms Seeto paid homage to her late husband Dixon.
She said he was her inspiration.
Ms Seeto has not only been instrumental in many policies but part of community programmes that includes awareness and education.
“This award which I humbly accept with gratitude was only made possible with the help of family, friends and all those who were with me throughout my career who supported and encouraged me,” she said.
“My late husband, Dixon was my greatest strength and inspiration. He was always in the background encouraging me to take that extra step or leap.
“There were many moments when I hesitated to do things but Dixon always said I was capable professionally and he saw how happy and satisfied I was in doing things with the community.”
Ms Seeto said she went through life being positive and confident with the knowledge that she could give back to the community and the country.
“They all have been so good to me and blessed me with so many opportunities. For me there is so much joy in giving back,” she said.
“I get involved with things I am passionate about so that I can make a difference to people’s lives and careers.”
