Bring On Labasa: Blues
The Lautoka football team are adamant of winning today’s Courts Interdistrict Championship final against defending champions Labasa at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
Blues coach Ravinesh Kumar was brimming with confidence after they came from behind to beat Ba 2-1 in the first semifinal.
“We will be much sharper in the final,” Kumar said yesterday.
In the second semifinal, Labasa striker Anare Apenisa slammed in their winning goal in the 43rd minute as they beat Rewa 1-0.
Labasa coach Ronil Lal said they had their chance and made use of it.
“Anare was at the right place at the right time,” he added.
The no-nonsense coach highlighted that playing Lautoka in the final would not be easy as they have a good coach.
The final kicks off at 3pm.
