Digicel Fiji launched its new logo yesterday with a new tagline -Better Together.

The new logo resembles the merging of Digicel company and its customers.

Digicel chief executive officer, Farid Mohammed, said: “Better Together is a combination of bringing something together, so if you look at Digicel and the customer we believe that we are better together. ‘‘

The logo brings a new energy and the quality of the logo is the usage of smiling face emoji, Mr Mohammed said. With the All In data promotion, Digicel is the first operator in Fiji to have a $10 data plan for 40 GB. “We have received good responses from customers using this plan and now we have also added 160GB for $20 on a 30 days plan,” he said.

Mr Mohammed said the translation of the Digicel BIP app,ss the first app globally to translate iTaukei language into English and vice versa. Customers can also use the BIP app for messaging,video voice calling and gaming functions.

The app makes it easy for customers to communicate in different languages using the BIP translator. “The BIP app allows users to make video calls to 10 people at the same time” he said.
